I Bought A BROKEN Buick LeSabre For ONLY $300 But IT'S NICE

A few months ago I bought this 1996 Buick LeSabre for $300, but wasn't able to go pick it up. It had been parked after replacing the starter because it broke again immediately after. I assumed the new starter failed and it would just need a new part, but a quick test proved the starter was fine. It will take some more troubleshooting but the fix may be much easier and cheaper than replacing the starter. At least it's powered by the most reliable engine EVER built!

That's a late 90's buick. Since they changed the headlights, Tailamps, And they moved the glovebox to fit a passenger airbag. Nice buy.

Speaking as a loyal BMW owner....My dad gave me his 2005 LeSabre and I love it! Absolutely everything in it works and the original paint is still shiny. I notice people looking at it everywhere I go 😊🚗 102,000 miles and capable of many many more 👍🏻

Those buicks where great cars i put over 350,000 miles bought it new at the time all regular maintenance was performed the only things i had to replace was cats which became clogged up and either water pump or alternator i forget which one otherwise great car

A those cars have an electric speed odmeter and the wire for odameter runs in front of the block that will make the transmission jump in and out and make sure the starter has the shims in it the flywheel will break that starter itll crack the nose cone

Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Removal is cheap and great for that work. It is the best bug, tar, and sap removal I have tried. Cleaning those through the pressure of water is really dangerous. Both to the paint, but also for the rubber seals - which must be very fragile and brittle, due to its age and been left out for so long.

We bought a saturn sc2 that wouldn't start but it would turn over so the guy sold it for 300, it ended up being the fuse for the fuel pump and started up and ran perfectly. The repair litterally costed nothing and it got sold for 1200$

That Mildew will vanish with some Comet Cleanser. Open the hood and blow the leaves and ants away that are living there. My Wife's Mom had one of these from new in 98 with only 70,000 miles that still looked like new, needed a new radiator ( EBAY $65,00 ) and starter. Headliner was sagging. AC controls Vacuum source rubber hose collapsed and needed replacement so that the Vent controls would work again, and new AC Compressor to replace the leaking original. Now it needs 2 new rear air shocks for the leaking self leveling air suspension. Remember this is a 23 year old GM car. These are real good cars and will bring $ 1500-2 grand easily if clean. NICE ! GOOD LUCK !
