I bought another Volvo, this time a $3,000 Volvo C30 that's lived a long life. The Twilight movie series featured C30s that sounded out of this world, and nothing like the turbocharged 5 cylinder production car. This one has 150,000 miles on the clock and feels like it's falling apart, but I have a feeling it won't be too difficult to save it. Just sprinkle a little glitter on it, keep it out of the sunlight, and it should be good as new.

The high performance sound system was not standard but a factory fit mid range option. When I had it fitted to my C30 back in 2008 it cost me an additional £300. A graphic equaliser for front and rear speakers. The premium system was a Dynaudio system costing £1,150 . I bet that was something, although it's hard to tell how it could improve on the high performance system.

Used to own a 2007 S40 T5 Manual.. DynaAudio was standard on all T5's and it had the best seats ever, even better than my current German tri star. Happy days with the Volvo

ive got a 2.4 NA c30 and i like it apart from it being an auto and it not being all that fast. check the PCV valve. the sterio is pretty good in the C30 and the fuel economy is solid as well

I bought an 05' Volvo S40t5 about a month ago, I love it, and can probably give you some tips. My vehicle and yours are both P1 platform Volvos and share a lot. I just subscribed to your channel today, but I'll spend the next couple of days compiling a short list of hopefully helpful tips. Tip #1; don't replace your gas cap with an OEM unit. They're about thirty bucks new, but you can source an exact replacement for HALF that. These are the type things I've learned since April. Good luck with the C30.

No cruise control, but "Performance Sound System" that actually performs and headlight washers. Weird optioning volvo. My buddies C30 is the base model and has cruise, so weird yours doesn't. I almost wonder if the wiring is in the steering wheel for the buttons and could be software enabled if the buttons were replaced.

Bought one of these new back in 2013, 6 speed manual with premium plus (yeah, it had cruise control). We did several runs from MA to FL with it and would see at most one other one during the whole trip ... they are scarce. Fun car, was very reliable ... my sister is still rockin' it to this day!

As a C30 owner I find super strange that your C30 T5 did not came with the T5 spoiler, T5 Fog Lights and the Cruise control, but it came with a bloody blue interior, who optioned that car??

That's nearly identically spec'ed to the long-term tester that Automobile Magazine had - including lack of cruise control. www.automobilemag.com/news/2008-volvo-c30-3/ Initially, you had to pay extra to take advantage of Volvo's "custom order" or personalization program, and they bundled cruise control as an option under that. Quite strange.

Used to live right there on the other side of the FM road from there. You could hear the race from outside in the yard. Walk in the house and it was gone. Race weekend made getting in and out of my neighborhood a serious pain, but not that bad. The cool part was you could see them transport all the cars for the "driving experiences" from the garage down the road. They just drove them. Odd to pass a race car on a FM road. Also, you missed out on the Beaver Nuggets goodness.
