We've got the ultimate network installed, now it's time for the ultimate balcony. There was a lot of work that needed to be done to the warehouse to prep for the balcony and getting the wall full removed was a huge part. I spent a whole day solving problems left from previous jobs and getting ready to drop the last girder. Now everything is out of the way, we just need to cut the steel plate off the back wall and start standing up our 60ft by 25f balcony!

JohnR, your my inspiration, I am able to do things with cars I wouldn't though I would done 2 years ago, there was a mechanic waiting to evolve inside me. I now after searching deals and buying some of my tools used at prices like next to 5 cents on the dollar, I now have a garage full of tools that a auto tech would not mind working in with 3 stand up boxes all bought used, except my first box i had for years, and 2 4 drawer filing cabinets i store my Makita and yes 3 weeks ago bought my 1st Milwaukee cordless tool 1/4 ratchet battery M12 tool new in box for $40 dollars and got a charger and battery for $35 more, and I can still sell it for more than I got invested. As for the last few years watching your youtubery show, it told me I need to live, I love working on my fleet of cars, 2 Nissan's Sentra SER's2004 and 2005, 1995 Chevrolet G20 Van, and the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette, that I see a day that car will be flawless in a year or so, a lot of blood sweat and cuts but the reward of I did it means more. You shown that there is more to life than IT techory, I still love building computers, but I love cars more, bring them back to spec, and seeing history come alive. Cars today that are 2008 or newer I have no feeling for one bit, they lost all character and personality, there built like shit. I refuse to buy any American car after 2006, I hope the Japanese cars don't follow the American trend of engineering. I remember when that Buick Grand national was new, I was 18 and I was a professional detailer, and there will never be cars like them built by fisher body (GM), hell there no Fisher Body plant no more it been torn down, long time ago, the fabric of American engineering has died from what it was when I was in high school in the 80's when it was ok to be a bad boy with 4-5 gf, in my biker jacket, yeah i was 1 of 4 that rode Japanese Honda motorcycle to school, when home with a different girl every day, omg i wish i could go back for a few days. This generation know nothing about the importance of what the car brought to this country and the hard work it took to build the most power country in the world, it now died. KEEP UP WITH THE SHOW, YOUR THE CHOOSEN ONE JOHNR

Dont get me started on shipping I been aimlessly fixing up the 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R #3 (Black Mamba) and waiting for the steering column for my 95 Corvette to arrive from San Antonio, TX from National Corvette, and the wheel bearing I ordered for the Mamba, finally got the struts in, had to redo the rotten upper stud mounts and run new bolts, no problem. I just want to scream at US post office the most piss poor ran operation in this country! I am glad you are making your dreams reality, and so will I, 2020 is just a test it was far from a bad year for me personally, was not in hospital till 4 weeks ago and had foot surgery, it still very sore but I am still moving forward, that what men of the earth do when they dont got time to wait for greatness, you make it happen. HAPPY NEW YEAR JohnR, I got to say your making it tough for me to compete but idk, make them goals higher and higher! Goal is to get the 6ft lift hoist for my garage, and do oil changes, under car repairs, rustproofing and brake jobs all day, create my opportunity! I need to9 fix my air compressor now.

FYI, for any further installs of receptacle outlets, you need to have the ground plug facing up/top. NEC code (National Electric Code) now requires this. That way if something metal were to fall down between the pins/prongs of the plug it won't short out between the neutral and hot side. Instead with the ground facing up, only the ground will be in contact with the metal object and no short or possibly energizing it with the hot side only, if it were to only hit one of the two pins. I've actually had this happen in front of me in a equipment rack that had the hot and neutral facing up, we removed a metal cover over a server and it slipped down and made contact (with a plug that was not fully inserted, only about 2mm exposed but enough) and shorted out that entire power strip. Luckily the rack had two power strips on each side, and all the servers were dual power supply and separate circuits, they continued on without interruption. Your electrician should do this for all your install work. I don't know if you will need an inspection with adding of the balcony, but this could be an issue they point out that needs attention. Keep up the good work! Fantastic videos and I look forward to seeing more of the tear down and construction of the new shop! It's so cool you were able to get this amazing building!
Marcus Damberger
Marcus Damberger 18 օր առաջ
@WatchJRGo Indeed, I didn't know that. I took a residential wiring course in collage and they had us go with the NEC code. I always thought commercial install had to go this way, with residential recommending that but not required. I wonder if this is state by state, or local municipality, or like you say it's not required even on the national level. Interesting.
WatchJRGo 18 օր առաջ
It’s not actually required (just a recommendation) and all electricians will ask how you want them now, I always go normal 💯

Oh, I built an artificial grass patio and have some suggestions. If the room is less than 15 feet wide the install will be very simple. Also spring for a foam playground mat for underneath. These are intended for 10 foot playground falls, but will make it comfortable enough to sleep on. Some good sales right now on turf. A big question is the backfill for the turf, rubber or sand.
