I bought a basket case 2003 Nissan 350Z for $1,500 with a seized engine. After repairing basically every single thing on the car and swapping the engine we got it driving again. I tried to slide it around after that and the car wouldn't let me. I tried again and found out the only way to actually turn off traction was to cut the fuse but it understeered all over. Today we're going to fix the alignment at German Motor Works and make some smoke for the first time!

When or before you weld the diff you definitely need a lower gear ratio like 4.10’s -4.56’s to get you in the engine in the upper RPM’s to drift better. A 75hp shot of nitrous maybe 🤔. From what I’ve watched they say it would be safe on the engine.

Fun video, car still sounds terrible. The exhaust note is horrible, needs something to alter the sound.

That open exhaust is killing the low RPM torque of your V6...and it sounds....less than desirable. The welded diff will require all the torque you can squeeze out of that poor thing. Please consider looking into quality exhaust bits which sound better and offer back pressure at lower RPM for better torque. Your 350Z has the potential to sound throaty and meaty like a 2JZ Supra, but currently is stuck sounding like an auto civic with a fart trumpet and can't hold a one-wheel burnout at 3k RPM. No hate, just honest feedback. This is a cool project regardless.

You did the front toe wrong You have to press adjust to zero for you toe perfect measurement to be zero

Try using Corroseal Rust converting metal primer to solve the rust issue under the ZX. You done a great Job even tough its a drift car worth to get it nice and clean.

Yeah I agree you need to weld the diff and get a angle kit and some rear adjustable arms and you should have a solid setup.
